The Rensselaer County SnowRiders Club was formed in 1978 and started with only 10 members. Since then, recreational snowmobiling has increased along with our yearly membership roster.

This club maintains the NYS corridor “C9” and several secondary snowmobile trails within the towns of Pittstown and Schaghticoke of north western Rensselaer County. Rensselaer County SnowRiders trail map This trail system of over 40 miles connects to other NYS trails of Grafton, Hoosick Falls and Washington County. Many hours are spent researching trail routes, interviews with landowners, trail construction, bridge building, maintenance, signing, grooming, etc. The members of our club volunteer many autumn weekends to prepare the trails, attend specialized training classes, groom the trails during the winter, and spring clean up.

The Rensselaer County SnowRiders Club is under the direction of: Rensselaer County Association of Snowmobiles, Inc and is a member of New York State Snowmobile Association
